I stumbled across your blog when I was researching what the Narmy is after a friend informed me that he is being sent back to the Middle East, but this time on land duty in Iraq as an IA. Thank you for writing this blog. I now have a better understanding of some of the challenges my friend faces. In addition, I need to thank you and all the men and women who have sacrificed and committed their lives to the cause of freedom. Please be assured that your efforts are appreciated.
I feel safer knowing that there are good people out there working to make the world a safer place. I was a senior in high school on 9 -11 and both my parents worked in the financial district. My older brother worked in WTC2.It was a day filled with unimaginable horror for so many people. Fortunately for me my family was spared. Some of our friends weren’t as lucky.
I pray for your safe and swift return. My prayers go out to your family and to all the families who are awaiting the return of their loved one.
May God bless you and keep you safe, Amanda Kearns, LI, NY

"There are some anonymous folk out there who see the internet as nothing more than an outlet for their immature rants."
